KT McFarland running against Hillary for Senate
She was just on ABC's Good Morning America spouting typical right-wing talking points:

"I'm for lower taxes, smaller government, and am strong on national security."

"9/11 changed everything."

:puke:

8. Well there ya go, she's a shoo in with credentials like that (in an
increasingly bluer blue state like NY). :eyes:

11. Oh yeah, that reminds me! She brought up the Red State/Blue State thing
Said the US is made up of Red States and Blue States.

Oooof.

Guess that's why quite a few of those "Red" states barely went to the Propagandist? The US is more purple than anything (well, except parts of Texas and the Rocky Mountain states)

13. That's right... "more purple"... this area has been fairly red in the past
but this last election when looking at that (more accurate) electoral map it's looking very purple and from the folks we've talked with it's increasingly more toward blue... people are increasingly aware that they've been snookered and are not happy.

I don't think there's any such thing as a 100% red or blue state. You'll probably always have pockets of blue in red.. red in blue... hopefully though more and more areas will turn bluer as they see red with their rage.

(btw: If you have a link to that map handy I'd appreciate it. I had it bookmarked but had to totally blow out and reload my computer a month or so ago. :banghead: TIA B-) )

are getting creamed by Hillary in the polls, what does this woman think is going to happen to her? Jeanine Pirro drops out, so the Repugs place a classified ad: Looking for human fodder to run against Hillary Clinton in 2006, preferably female. Only requirement is that you must be able to recite the line "Everything changed on 9/11."

4. She's an embarrassment
She looked disgusted with the role foisted on her. Another Cruella.
I was so bored I had to read my latest LL Bean catalog...

5. Hillary's even liked up in this redder area of NY. Who is "KT" & other
more of the SSDD "talking (but not walking) points" that the neo-cons have been spouting and people increasingly NOT buying, what background does she have? Man, but the NY RePIGliCon party must be desparate.

9. So KT then....
how do we pay for an endless war and care for our nation at the same time and our aging population while lowering taxes?

if you want a smaller government then stay out of it - how about that for a start - second we need to fix and fully fund the "government" we have now - the problem is not the size but how well it is funded.

and national security - ah yes - is port security a problem? Is 5% of the cargo coming in being inspected enough do you think? Do you even know the 9/11 Commission's recommendations? If you do and you still think it's fine then why did we have the Comission in the first place? How are we going to continue to be secure nationally if we have a President who paints only in black and white when obviously we are much more complex world?

Get back to me after you have Karl Rove or whoever is encouraging you and coaching you to run provides you with your talking points!

10. Except for the fact that her "talking points" are BS.
The current asses in office have mad government bigger, lowered taxes at the expense of the middle class and left it up to the state to raise taxes and "fees" and don't get me started on their brand of national security.

Hey ABC, nice commercial for KT McFarland. Maybe you could give Hillary a prime interview at 7:15am.
