"Conservatives" are spinning like tops about the verbage relative to the failure of the New Orleans levees. I'm sure the folks who lost their homes when water gushed through their neighborhoods take great comfort in knowing that their president's compassion is being defended by his syncophants.

I was 50 miles northeast of NOLA after the hurricane with no resources whatsover with trees and electric power lines all over the highways, power and water out. The only thing I had was ambient beer and a battery powered radio and I knew exactly what was going in New Orleans. I guess the bush white house does not have modern communications facilities.
