Bush wants a line item veto. WIll he get it and what can the democrats do to stop it. They gave Clinton it for a little while so what can they say in regards to not letting Bush have it? Fuck the thing is made for abusing!

But I think what he is proposing is a more watered down version. Like it only pertains to certain spending bills. he wants to use it so he can strong arm politicians with pet projects that he can get rid of so that they'll do what he wants. It was a bad idea under Clinton and and even worse idea under Bush.

3. I don't know if it will happen. Normally congress is pretty selfish with

the power of the purse. However, we have a congress now that seems to rubber stamp everything that chimp's little heart desires, no matter how corrupt or illigal. It will be interesting to see, but I think the real reason chimp is putting it out there right now is to deflect attention on dubai, NSA spying, etc........
