Embattled US Rep. DeLay wins Texas primary...
Un-be-fucking-lievable!

Flat out fraud, or are this many people REALLY this corrupt and stupid?

It seems highly unlikely this could have happened.

HOUSTON (Reuters) - Embattled U.S. Rep. Tom DeLay won handily in the Republican primary for his congressional seat on Tuesday, taking 61 percent of the votes against three opponents.

The race had been seen as a barometer of his political strength since he resigned as House majority leader following indictment in Texas on campaign finance charges and his friend lobbyist Jack Abramoff was indicted in a Washington corruption scandal.

DeLay skipped his election night party to attend a fund-raiser in Washington put on by lobbyists.

1. Won handily yet. How very sad.
A tiny group of greedy, corrupt people are keeping 300 million Americans hostage of one of the worst criminals ever to hold a seat in Congress.

Fuck you, you soulless assholes.

6. I thought this was just too funny
Everyone knows DeLay is a crook, a thief, an immoral lowlife, an indicted felon and the repukes vote him in during their primary anyway. Must be some really super big moral, family value, Christians in the district. How funny is that.

Maybe Libby should run for office in that district. Or even better yet, I bet they would vote in Abramoff. There we go, Abramoff for Senate. They should just open the jails and vote in all their repuke criminals in that Houston area district. There must be a lot of republicans in that district who identify with this scum. It is just very funny. It wont hurt the Democratic challenger any to be running against a criminal.

7. I just saw smug DeLay on the TeeVee. All his ethical, moral
and criminal activity resounding positively with the Texas voters. They love him.

9. Jon Stewart
Jon Stewart was right with what he said on Larry King the other week. In regards to the American people, what will it take for them to say enough's enough?? My jaw dropped when I read that headline this morning..

13. The Sugarland Republicans voted for Tom....
Although the Renowned Juanita adds this:

I got a mailout from DeLay saying that Democrats were voting in the Republican primary for his opponent. That ain't happening. Crossover Democrats are voting for DeLay. Reason? Well, when Republicans want to raise money, they holler, "Abortion!" or "Flag burning!" or "Consenting adults are doing nasty things in their bedrooms and won't let you watch!" When Democrats want to raise money, they simply say, "Tom DeLay." They don't even have to holler.
