Dear World,

Once upon a time I was so PROUD to be an American because at one time this country truly stood for something good. We’ve never been a perfect people by any means but with every one of our failures we tried to make things better for the future. We had a piece of paper called The Constitution that our Forefathers designed to guide our citizens and our representatives in dealing with a multitude of issues. Even though our Constitution was merely paper it was the words that turned it into a living breathing statement of what we as a people would always stand for. Along with that Constitution was a flag that was a beacon to the world and seemed to communicate better tomorrows and a hopeful future.

We as a people came to revere and to depend on the guarantees that piece of paper and that flag communicated to us and to the world. It never occurred to many in my country that behind the scenes were truly evil people working to destroy everything our forefathers and our veterans had fought and died to give us and to preserve. So while many in my country, including myself, were going about our daily lives enjoying the freedoms we had, evil was being hatched behind the scenes. That evil eventually took the form of Bush, Cheney and the rest of his administration. In just slightly over five years this administration has completely shredded our Constitution and our once beautiful flag now hangs in shame.

We as a people are trying to find our way back from being one of the most hated countries on the face of the earth to being respected but we need the world’s help. Please, we beg of you, demonstrate in every street around the world where Bush or any of his administration appears. March with signs telling this administration how much he and they are hated. Physically turn your backs when anyone from this administration is in sight. Help us do what the Homeland Security Act does not always allow us to do right now. Be assured that the people of America will remember your help. Please don’t give up on us, instead help us bring this evil dictatorship down. Then when we finally overthrow this administration the day of reckoning and a return to justice will begin. It may not happen overnight but it will happen.
