My Rant: We ain't gonna make it past a few more years: Our children
is not being addressed. The Future for our loved ones and others looks extremely bleak. Self extinction is now almost inevitable.

The War that never was: THE WAR ON IGNORANCE....

Its too little too late...we have peeps brainwashed to the point of no return...the event horizon has passed. Stupidity now out numbers Sanity and Reason.

Look all around us for clues to our decadent descent....There is no Big Picture, no Goals, no Hope for the FUTURE

Come, we go drink....eat, laugh...while we can...,.

6. resources
While scarce public resources are being spent on bombs rather than people. Yet another elective war.

2. I'm afraid you and Chomsky agree on this ...
btw, Opi, how did you like working with Don Knotts?

check out this article that recaps a very recent speech by Noam Chomsky ... he's really pessimistic ...

source: http://www.pressconnects.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20060305/NEWS01/603050342/1006

There are dire consequences to the current direction of the U.S. foreign policy, said Noam Chomsky in a speech Saturday at Binghamton University. Among those consequences, he said, is a nuclear Armageddon.

"Under the current U.S. policies, a nuclear exchange is inevitable," the 77-year-old MIT professor said in his presentation, "Imminent Crises: Paths Toward Solutions." He spoke to an over-capacity crowd in BU's Osterhout Concert Theater.

Chomsky cited nuclear proliferation and environmental collapse as the two greatest crises that "literally threaten survival." <skip>

5. I unfortunately agree......
Military might is our diplomacy... and the world is reacting in their own way.... mostly by beefing up theirs... Look at Europe.. one of the reasons they are pushing to unite so fast is to be able to combat us militarily.

We have set the stage... we may have had a chance to turn it around by getting rid of Bush in 2004, but it didn't happen... Now Bush and his thugs have cemented the world in their distrust and fear of us and they are pursuing their own military aspirations.

4. 'Course this guy
had a differnt reason for doing the same thing.

Luke 12:18-20 (King James Version)
King James Version (KJV)

18And he said, This will I do: I will pull down my barns, and build greater; and there will I bestow all my fruits and my goods.

19And I will say to my soul, Soul, thou hast much goods laid up for many years; take thine ease, eat, drink, and be merry.

20But God said unto him, Thou fool, this night thy soul shall be required of thee: then whose shall those things be, which thou hast provided?
