A sound bite I just heard on the radio...supposedly Bush walked into a grocery store in New Orleans today and bought himself some red beans and rice. That should boost the local economy...

the few stores that have reopened tend to have massively long lines, made even longer, I'm sure, by the presence of King Dumbass** and his everpresent security detail.

I'll also bet he got a sack of dry beans and another of rice, rather than pre-made red beans 'n' rice (which, as has been pointed out, would normally be available on Monday, not Wednesday), and that he opened up the sacks, sprinkled the rice on top of the beans, and dug in.
