Jan Schneider needs your help.

I'm going to be working with Jan on her campaign this year. I just left her office where she was feverishly stuffing envelopes to get out to FEDEX. We Floridians supported Jan when she ran against Katherine Harris in 2004. Right now, Jan has a more than 60% lead among the dem candidates here in Sarasota County. Her republican opponent is a multi-millionaire, Vern Buchanan, who never ran for office before and owns a car business.

If everyone here sent Jan a few bucks, if would help immensely. She is aware of DU, and most recently realizes that she must rely on grassroots support.

Check out her website and if you do support her, please write somewhere on your check that your are from DU. All it takes is a few bucks from a lot of people. She needs to know that it is groups like us that can make a difference in her campaign.

7. Maybe the OP was reminding leaders in the party....

there is another Democrat in the race. I heard they either gave money or had big money fundraisers for Jennings and never even acknowledged that person who got 45% of the vote and beat Jennings last time.

The party acts like Jan is nonexistent, I sort of felt fine with the way the OP presented it.

After all, it hurts to be ignored.

I contacted our local PDA/FDA about this and have received NO answer back. Not only that, it would be such a shame if these kids didn't get all the help in the world. I recall our Revolution back during Viet Nam and feel they need community support for all they're doing. I went to a meeting last Monday and only a few people showed up. They have worked so hard to keep this alive and were the driving force in getting a GOOD representation of people from Sarasota last Sept. 24th in D.C.

We are planning on marching in front of Cruella's office that day, even though she will be hiding in Ft. Lauderdale! PLEASE HELP! Harris never really won last time out and neither did The Idiot!!
