YOU'RE THE JUDGE: What should happen to Bush?
Edited on Thu Mar-09-06 02:26 PM by I give
It's November, 2008. We've just elected the Democratic candidate to the office of the presidency. If you got to pick, what would YOU say should happen to Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld?:woohoo: :applause:

3. Public trial where the entire history of the BFEE comes out.
All guilty parties are publically dragged into court, tried, and if convicted sentenced to life w/o parole.

Yes, it's more than they deserve, but we are still a nation of laws.

I really do want to be able to sleep at night once again. We have a lot of work to do and as long as any of them are roaming this country it will never happen.

...and prosecute for crimes against humanity. Torture, if necessary, to extract confessions. (Oh, OK, it really wouldn't be necessary to torture any of these pansy-asses; they'd sing like birds if someone turned the lights off in their room.)

6. They, and all their henchmen, have to put on work clothes and
rebuild the areas wiped out by the hurricanes. Then they can go overseas and start rebuilding the things they smashed over there. I don't expect them to live long enough to finish the job entirely, but they can at least get started.

10. First go through the US process to impeach them...
file criminal charges for all of the crimes they have committed...including Treason...

And then send them to the Hague for crimes against humanity!!

And for the government organizations that they have created illegally, I would have a full vetting of the organizations to see if they have any value, if they don't shut them down. For other organizations they would be gutted of the incompetent non-qualifed crony staff and filled with experts in the appropriate fields..

Remove FEMA from the Dept of Homeland Security and make it like it was under Clinton. Remove powers that Chertoff has given it...strengthen the organization.

Yup that's what I would do..:applause:

Or just airlift them to Tora Bora and drop them off with one gun, one bullet apiece, the clothes on their back and let the "terrists" take care of them for us.

14. Public trial, incarceration, community service
I think we need to put them on trial, and reveal EVERYTHING that would not put America in jeopardy, or provide information to our enemies that they could use against us.

All of their dirty deeds should be made public. No matter how disgusting, embarrassing for the country, or disruptive it may be. Americans need to be made aware of just how bad it was, and that their complacency allowed it to happen. Americans need to be outraged so that this will never happen again.

They need to be prosecuted, incarcerated, and when let out (if they are let out) need to make restitution to the American people by fulfilling community service.

I pray that this happens, so that we will never allow anyone this much unchecked power again.

17. it happens in 2007 right after we take back BOTH houses. Impeachment
then Tried for war crimes,
Then Tried for crimes against humanity,
Tried for crimes against nature.

Then let them all be interrogated in the sadistic torture centers they are building.

Then render them to our friends to boil them until they are done.

20. Tried in the Hague for war crimes, punishment to be decided by the
American people in a TRANSPARENT vote, hand-counted at the precinct level, with the following being some of the options...

1. Community service at the Catholic Worker Soup Kitchen in downtown Los Angeles--life sentence--plus a fine of $10 billion to be used for alternative energy development and organic food production.

2. A fine of $10 billion to be paid to the Iraqi people--plus 10 years of appropriate community service in Iraq.

3. Return to school, starting in kindergarten; no TV; must read books; must pass standardized tests to graduate from level to level; $10 billion contribution to the US PUBLIC school system; must then take a job in a public school, and if he can't quality as a teacher or teacher's aide, he must take janitor or other responsibilities, for the rest of his life.

4. ?? (your turn)

24. AFTER being tried as war criminals:
o Being sent to Iraq to personally wash and bandage the stumps of what were arms, legs, eyes, etc. on Iraqi children blown to bits by us.

o How about secret rendition to Abu Ghraib or Gitmo and being treated exactly & just as kindly as we treated our prisoners there.

o Having to read the Bill of Rights and the Constitution out loud every single day so they can be reminded of how they raped and spat on it.

o Having to live on minimum wage, with no medical insurance for a year.

o Castration without anesthesia.

25. Real Justice
All there assets should be liquidated, (after tried and convicted of all war crimes and wrong doings), to pay down the deficit. They then should have the choice of either receiving 10 lashes across their backs by a gasoline soaked whip each day for the rest of their lives while in confinement in the US .... or they all should be forced to live in Iraq on $150 (cost of living adjustment for Iraq)a mth to live out their great dream in the ME completely on their own with special 'red' NeoCon tattoos on their chests. It's a good thing you all caught me in a good mood today for I went really light on these bastards.

.....deaths at US run prisons, next put in prison for life. Personally, I'd prefer the death penalty for them but then their rethug friends might turn that into them all being martyrs - so we'll take prison with no parole possibilities.

30. I was talking about this yesterday with a friend
standing in front of the post office. I absolutely want him indicted and tried - the whole bunch of them. I'd like to sic a special prosecutor on the whole crew at once, then see them tried for the hash they have made of the Constitution and all the crimes they have committed.

War crimes? I don't see it happening, but it would be nice.

I've thought a lot about impeachment, and I am not sure about it, but I am sure of this: I would LOVE to see the Democrats really rein Bush in, stop him from doing any more damage, undo some of the crap he has given us and tie him up so he can't do anything.

Impeachment will take a lot of time, and I'd really rather see everything he's done undone and leave the trial part to the courts. I think. My mind could be changed though.
