Why Did The 2nd Amendment Violations Just Disappear ?
During Katrina I Recall That Peoples Firearms Were Confiscated, But I Haven't Heard Anything From The NRA About It, I Wonder Why ?
I Think If That Happened During The Clinton Administration Head's Would Be Exploding Every Day All Day Long.
Just Imagine Faux News.....

1. Well you gotta remember that that they were taking black folks
guns....you see the NRA is only concerned about their white base.....:sarcasm:

The irony is that the * Cabal is going to go after their guns....when they attempt to impose martial law!!!! Now that my friend is going to be a good show:popcorn:

2. Because guns were being taken away from black people.
The NRA is OK with that. They encourage it.

3. The NRA claims that they intervened and recovered the guns...
...for the owners. They point to it as a success story in their fundraising letters.

4. Did they raise a hue and cry while it was happening, though?
That's the key bit of info here, IMO.

8. Well, they sure didn't raise a hue-n-cry about those
"shoot to kill" orders, now did they? In fact, there was a deafening silence from everyone except the Revolutionary Communist Party-USA and other extreme-left organizations about that little bit of thuggery.

And where was the NRA's outrage that Blackwater was brought in to help restore order? Eesh, it makes me sick

9. I am sure this whole thing is somehow Clinton's fault anyway.
Let us review the list of Disasters since 2001 that were somehow Clinton's fault.

-Economy tanking around 6/01 was somehow the Clinton recession.
-Failure of Bubba "to go after" bin Laden in the 90's somehow caused Sept. 11.
-Aforementioned Clinton recession caused huge budget defeceits and not the tax cuts for the rich or the Iraq war.
-Clinton's failure "to deal with" Saddam caused the Iraq war despite the fact that Bush Sr. left him in office.
-Liberal media which always liked the Clintons have revealed US autrocities in Iraq, inadequate supplies to troops and failures of every kind and thereby encourage our enemies just like in Vietnam. Talking about cluster-fucks is evidently worse than committing cluster-fucks.
-Tolerance of gays by Clinton invited God's wrath on New Orleans in the form of hurricane.

Are we clear now?

11. I don't REALLY need mine...
when I go on my bike trips, but it is there. The damned thing even broke my arm once.

If the Conservatives are going to flaunt how well armed they are, I am going to be armed also.

12. They already owned them.
Bush's goons were confiscating them. With an anarchistic situation there, it is resonable that people might want to hang onto them to defend their homes and families especially since LA law permits ownership for that purpose.

15. The NRA won an injunction in Federal court to stop the confiscations
and the judge ordered that all illegally confiscated firearms be returned. So far, the city hasn't returned any of the stolen guns yet, so the NRA has filed another suit to force them to return the guns to their lawful owners. The second suit hasn't been heard yet.

This battle has gotten quite a bit of coverage on the gun boards, but apparently the MSM doesn't consider it interesting enough to report.
