For 2008, Hillary Clinton leads google "voting", followed by Russ Feingold
I searched for each potential candidate's full name in google.
Here are the # of hits for each:

Hillary Clinton D 49,500
Russ Feingold D 46,000
Mark Warner D 41,500
Condoleezza Rice R 36,600
Al Gore D 34,800
Evan Bayh D 28,000
Rudy Giuliani R 18,400
Joe Biden D 17,700
John Edwards D 16,900
John McCain R 12,500
Jeb Bush R 1,900
Barack Obama D 935
Barbara Boxer D 874

I like where Feingold sits. I predict Clinton vs. Rice or
Feingold vs. Rice. Leaning towards Feingold. And I also
predict Feingold can and will beat Ms. "nobody could have
predicted..." Rice.

2. I think the right is pushing Hillary because they feel she will bring out
their base to vote against her like we had anyone but bush.

4. She will in Texas.
Condi, could beat Hillary in Texas. A rabid, gay armadillo could beat Hillary in Texas. The contempt and disdain for Hillary in Texas runs that deep. Texans are salivating gleefully at the thought of her running just for the pleasure of being able to vote against her.

There are too many states where Hillary would have to fight uphill battles like this to make her a viable candidate.

I am not saying that Hillary would make a bad President. She would be a better one than we have now, but she will unify the Republicans against her like no one else can.

one of the few Senators that stood up to chimp over NSA and homeland security. He's got I call "testical fortitude". I like that in a Dem.

17. I agree with you.
I think Feingold should be the number one candidate for the dems. He's also one of few that voted no on the Patriot Act. And you're right about the testicals.

5. Funny how John Kerry isn't in any of these polls
Edited on Thu Mar-09-06 07:59 PM by FreedomAngel82
Sometime earlier this month, or late last month, thedemocraticdaily.com reported Kerry was the most searched canidate and was seen as most liberal (he even beat Feingold). And you think Barbara Boxer is going to run? LOL. She was interviewed by John Dean on CSPAN earlier this year for her book and she was asked about running and she pretty much in so many words said "no way."

8. Well, I left Kerry off because he's kind of a special case for an
unscientific poll like this. When I google "John Kerry for President" I get a whopping 694,000 hits. Most of those have to do with the 2004 campaign. As far as Barbara Boxer, I got her name from a web site that supposedly listed many of the "in-play" candidates for 2008. Boxer was listed there.

9. You may want to add Kerry was excluded and why to the op
I can see why you did it - it makes sense, though it should be mentioned because now it errs on the other side.

i bet some Hillary stuff is because she is the former First Lady, which makes Feingold's close tally impressive.

7. Condi"Traditional Hijackings" Rice won't get past the GOP primaires. Will
she have the moxie to distance herself from the Chimp? Condiliar will have the Jack Abramoff shell-shocked look after it's all over. Those close to her won't let her run.

12. You seriously think a black woman will run at the top of the GOP ticket?
The GOP is far too racist and sexist at it's core, to run a ticket like that, IMO.

15. Against Hillary, Condi has a serious shot.
The pleasure of voting AGAINST Hillary will be too much for the Republicans to resist. Because she IS black, she will pick up a few black votes. Hillary is this divisive. I live in the middle of Bumfuck Texas. You would believe that a Black woman had no chance of getting any votes here and she really doesn't. Unless you present Hillary as an option.

16. Strange
I tried doing the same and get results no where near what you're reporting.

For example, in quotes "Russ Feingold" google reports 2,010,00 hits. "Russ Feingold for President" again in quotes reports 40,200. Googling "President Russ Feingold" gives a whooping 517 hits.

"Hillary Clinton for President" reports 91,100

What exactly did you type into google?

21. Ooops! What I searched for was "Barbara Boxer for President"
I put "for President" after each candidate's name and put the whole thing in quotes. I know I was intending on stating that in the OP, but obviously I never did.
