McCain speaks on port deal
He's upset at the way the Dubai company was treated. WTF? Who treated them poorly? Bush made a funky deal and tried to sneak it through and it was rightfully cancelled.

Snip...

Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.), one of the few senators to vocally back DP World, said the company's forced pullout could compromise future relations with Dubai, whose port is a major base of operations for the U.S. military in the Mideast.

"I've already been told that, of course, they're offended," said McCain. "I'm concerned not just because of their having to make the sale but the way they were treated and the rhetoric that was used around here."

5. We Trash the more principled leaders like CARTER, CLARK, now McCain
who refused to lie about the deal to get political points.

Are we democrats behaving any better on this issue than the Sean Hannities and
Mike Savages of the world?

8. You forget "McCain-Feingold" and many other ways he parted from
the RW on matters of principle.

He is obviously a RW nut from my point of view. But sticks to what he honestly
believes more than most.

was completely silent about Bush attaching a signing statement to his torture amendment.

9. McCain doesn't have any principles
He is whoring for Bush and is whoring for the Rethug agenda.

What principles?
