GOP revolting against bush? Not so fast says the NYT
Edited on Sat Mar-11-06 11:13 AM by BOSSHOG
In a nice Saturday morning read, the NYT dissects and dismisses the notion that the republicans in congress are revolting against bush.

"With rebels like these, who needs loyalists?" A nice listing of how the gop is not revolting against bush. What is not said in the story is the need to stick them with him through election day. The gop's worst nightmare. How sad for the party of honesty and integrity.

2. Maybe the GOP isn't revolting against Bush, but one thing I have
noticed in the last few weeks is that some in the media are starting to ask some of the right questions. This may be a start in getting some of Bush's supporters to take off the blinders and see what's really happening instead of just accepting the party line. I'm not overly optimistic, but it's a start.

3. McCain's calling for everyone to line up behind King Stupidhead
I think reports of a GOP revolt are overblown. They make a lot of noise, but when the votes are tabulated, they line right up, and whatever the latest depradation committed by the Bushistas is, the Republican Congress validates it.

So the Republicans may not be revolting against Bush, but they are revolting.
