2. How comforting to know that there's a task force on IEDs.
That should take care of the problem. Uh huh.

3. He's using a straight edge to help himself read?
He's trying pretty frickin' hard too! Got his tongue clenched between his lips and everything.

I wonder if the rumor that he has dyslexia is true? Apparently, that book he was reading on 9/11 (Happy Goat, or whatever) was his standard text for those elementary school photo ops of his. It would be strategically placed prior to his arrival so that he could pretend to select it, but he always used the same book. Looking at that picture, if you didn't already know that he's a total asshole you'd feel sorry for him.

And to think that his aides tried during a Air Force One flight to convince the press pool that he was reading de Tocqueville.

5. ever see a shot of
his speeches that he is 'reading'? The print is about 1 1/2 inches high, and very dark 'ink'?

Guess that librarian laura must have given him those easy reading hints. There are others using tinted overlays that he could use, too ----but that would be telling, then, wouldn't it?

Using that old ruler is VERY telling !

8. Yeah, it's a dead give away. He's too young for it to be age related...
unless he sped the process along with grog. I suppose that could happen.

He looks downright cross-eyed! :silly:

9. Oh, my, I think you are right!
How is it that this guy is managing the *presidency without being able to read properly?
Oh, right...nevermind.

14. Hey, good idea!
I don't know why he needs it but I'm going to. I have no trouble reading screen, but reading print where lines are closer together my vision skews the lines and they cross each other. (Nerve damage in occipital lobe)

So I just tried a straight edge on a book with small print and viola! I can read again. Don't know why I never thought of it.

But why might bush be using it?

15. Yeah, there certainly are other reasons why one might need to do that
Physical impairment being one, or just plain gettin' old. And Bush was a fighter pilot; it's hard to imagine that he's always had the problem, assuming there is one. Who knows, maybe he drank himself cross eyed.

Whatever. There is definitely something going on with the guy. I've seen footage of him in a debate when he first ran for office in Texas and he was much different than he is now. No stumbling or searching for words. No malapropisms. He came across as being pretty sharp, and had absolutely no trouble talking at all. The man has changed a lot.

He looks 90-some years old in that photo.

10. Every president ages....
I'm just wondering what this creep has done that would age him, though. I guess fucking up where the whole world can see it will do that to you, eh? Lying and spinning and trying to read coherently in public must be hard work.
