1. I would like to see the media and the online community use
each member of congress's vote on the war as part of their identity. Using W for War and P for Peace it would look like this.

Clinton (W-D-NY)
Kennedy (P-D-MA)
Chafee (P-R-RI)
Frist (W-R-TN)

...supporting dems who voted FOR the IWR. Anytime someone says "but they weren't really authorizing a war" or "they only voted yes to put pressure on Saddam Hussein" we should remember how disrespectful that is of the dems who were couragous enough to do the right thing rather than the politically expedient thing in October 2002. What, they didn't vote for the IWR because it wasn't an authorization for war? They didn't vote for it because they were Saddam's buddies?

They opposed the IWR because they knew it was wrong, and because they knew history would judge them if they failed their consciences. Support for the war of aggression against Iraq and the USA PATRIOT Act are the most shameful events in Democratic Party history since 2000, IMO.

They don't vote to increase diplomacy so OF COURSE it was a vote FOR WAR!
What the hell are people thinking when they say, "well it wasn't really a vote for war".
What was it a vote for then?
Stronger diplomacy?
Oh jeezus what dumbfucks.
