so I just walked my precinct and collected signatures and contributions
from my neighbors.

In total I collected $105 in five-dollar contributions for clean elections campaigns in Arizona.

The morals of this story are:

1) As always, "the Democratic party" is not some disconnected entity you'll never be a part of- when you knock on a door or dial a phone number in activism, YOU ARE THE PARTY.
2) Big money doesn't have to dominate politics, and ordinary people can contribute tiny sums of money that can and will in clean elections states stack up competetively against special-interest money.

6. It is a pleasure to see someone with a positive message and attitude.
I have seen a lot of negative posts like, "Why didn't Dean do this!" "Why didn't the democrat's do that!" but very few with the "What can I do," or "What I did," posts like yours. Thanks for the positive outlook! Have a great day! :yourock:
