4. I hope Edwards and Clark get wins. Let the GOP fear our strength.

5. They will get headlines with wins
and so they will help Dean out in stopping Kerry momentum.

Missouri is looking to be an incredible blowout. I wonder if that will be a headline in itself?

7. Yep -- Kerry's win in MO will get twice the coverage of his losses
in South Carolina and Oklahoma.

13. Missouri IS more important than SC and OK
We will not win in OK or SC this Nov., whereas MO is a swing state that we could pick up with the right candidate. I'm FAR more interested in knowing which Democrat the voters in MO will support.

15. I think we can win SC
We can't just assume we lose all these states. Huge job losses have occured in these formerly strong Repbub states.

6. So how does Kerry get to 50 in MO? Thank the press.
Missouri is a good state for testing the effect of the media's horse race style coverage, since none of the candidates had ads running there before the New Hampshire primary.

8. Maybe because Gephardt is from there?
and Kerry is seen as a closely aligned traditional Democrat?

16. Talking to others here in MO and KS
Very few have any ideas what the different candidates stand for.

Most have an idea about Kerry but that is about it. Oh Dean is known for the "scream" but nothing else has really been shown. Edwards? Well he is pretty. Clark? Clark who? Kucinich if known is seen as somebody who cannot fight big interests.

It makes me want to pull my hair out! MO has 74 delegates and yet almost nobody has been here. The debate for tonite was even canceled because not enough candidates would be able to show up! It makes no sense to me.

10. Zogby's in the midst of a full fledged marketing campaign to
become Kerry's pollster. Combine his results--which bear little resemblance to other polls, with his on the record pro kerry statements and it's obvious.

12. Uckfay Ogbyzay
Not even going to read the Zogby drivel. Ridiculous that anyone still publishes his polls after he admitted to applying nebulous Black Arts to "adjust" results.

14. If Kerry takes Missouri, Arizona, Delaware, and North dakota. Then
he comes in a close second in South carolina and oklahoma, I just don't see how a Dean win in Wisconsin or Washington makes any different. Someone explain how it might. Not an attack. Serious question. Give me numbers of what could happen.
