Bush & Order - currency defacement division - inspired by DU
The Tuesday cartoon is inspired by reports on threads here by DUers about seeing IMPEACH BUSH written on currency.

How I imagine it ....

2. My dearest Neil ...
... as much as I am (hate to admit it) a real fan of the 'Law & Order' franchise, I'm afraid this one won't last a season.

The problem here is that the longer Bush is in office, the lower the value of US currency.

That means that defacing US bills can no longer be considered as a felony, a misdeamenour, or even common vandalism.

No one (not even me) is willing to watch Chris Noth, Vincent D'Onofrio, or Ice-T track down a criminal who is facing a maximum sentence, based on the seriousness of the 'crime' committed, of 2.63 minutes in a maximum-security prison.

Would you consider "Law & Order - SUV"? The premise is going after yuppie criminals who drive gas-guzzling vehicles, full of soccer and hockey equipment, as get-away cars?

Love ya LOTS, Neil! Always have, always will!

I like your idea about SUV. That's what I always call that one anyway.

5. SUV!
Me, too! Never can get that one right, so decided it was easier to write my own premise around the title I COULD remember!

6. the SVU is actually my favorite of all of them

I like Christopher Meloni and Mariska Hargitay.

Ice T is ok, and I like Belzer a lot going back over 30 years.

I like all the stuff Vincent D'Onofrio has been in EXCEPT Law & Order, where I can't stand his character. Don't care for his sidekick, either. I skip their shows.

I generally find all the prosecutors annoying, except Jill Hennessy.
