Randi Rhodes had it right when she used the quote
"We must all hang together, or we will all hang alone."

And the Dems have a tendency to look at the MSM and decide to hang alone . . .

2. I give up can you explain what you mean?
"And the Dems have a tendency to look at the MSM and decide to hang alone ..."

The MSM is viewed by many here as the ministry of propaganda for the neocon cabal/texas mafia/fundaloon regime in Washington. Me too. They are not our friends and are not on our side.

4. The gist of it is
Edited on Tue Mar-14-06 11:30 AM by Canuckistanian
There's strength in numbers. If there is no unity of purpose, critics can be picked off one at a time and denounced as traitors or crazy.

It's been a success so far...

7. Yeah so what does that have to do with the Ministry of Propaganda?
Or quislings like Joementum?

The OP brought up the Ministry of Propaganda (MSM) and seemed to imply that we should somehow lock arms and close ranks with our comrades over there like Russert and Tweety.

8. What I meant is that we have someone sticking his head out
and enough of the Dems who would make the difference tend to back away from it.

Murtha was left to "hang alone" . . . and yet he's being proven right . . .

How many of the Dems will sign up for the "censure", despite knowing that the media will do its best to paint them as committing treason, while * gets away with admitting wiping his ass with the Constitution, despite the Repukes' concerns with Constitutional integrity prior to 12/12/2000?

9. Oh I agree absolutely with that.
Murtha and Feingold are being treated like shit by cowardly Democrats. I just didn't understand your comment about the MSM.

10. The MSM - mainstream media -
is what scares some of these Dems into refusing to back what needs to be done.

6. No shit, in fact I can't think of any that are. I know Kucinich is true to
his beliefs, but is marginalized and ridiculed at every turn.
