Why did tony perkins call Feingold's action borderline treason?

perkins, head of the fascist family research council, an organization that hates in the name of Jesus Christ in a tax exempt status, says that a call for censure of the president by Senator Feingold is "borderline treason." Why borderline Tony? Break out those ku klux klan testicles of yours, be a man and call Senator Feingold a traitor. What's with the "borderline" you fucking constitution hating scum? Call it treason tony; a real man who knew what the fuck he was talking about would.

It either is or isn't and if it is I'm sure your group of "professional" researchers can easily come up with the evidence.

The religious right, the number one domestic enemy of our constitution today. No borderline in that sentence.

A suburb of Milwaukee that hadn't voted Democratic since the nineteenth century (except for Kerry) has a bring-the-troops-home referendum coming up next month. The local paper recently printed a letter accusing everybody who signed the petition to put it on the ballot (over a thousand people) of being guilty of treason. The letter must have used the words traitor and treason half a dozen times. The writer was happy to quote the part of the Constitution about "aid and comfort to the enemy" but must have stopped reading before the First Amendment.
