Medicare Part D, That Is what my Sister is on

And she is disabled, Has D.I.D. formally known as M.P.D. and Post Traumatic Stress from living in our screwed up house. She needs her anti-anxiety drugs, (me too) but Medicare Part D doesn't cover things like xanax, and Valium, and another drug she needs, Risperdal, which is for Schizophrenics, but works for her too and is considered a class 3, and the patient has to pay most of the cost. They don't pay for Vicodin either, (she looked it up) My Question is.... will our troops end up on Medicare Part D? They will need all of these drugs!

Have you look at there plan? I didn't have prescription plan before this plan (AARP), other wise, I was paying out of pocket expense $600.00 a month. I now pay, around $60.00 including my deductible each month. Two of my prescription is name brand, I pay $28.00 for each, with out this plan, I would pay almost $250.00 for each. Genetic is either $1.00 or $5.00.

By the way, you don't need to be AARP member to join their RX plan! All you need to have is Medicare card holder!!!

5. funny, I just got a leter from the VA

approving me for coverage that is "as good as" Medicare D. I guess im screwed being a paranoid, manic/depressive.
It says I can get med for a $8 co-pay, but maybe not the ones I need:shrug:
