(hopefully not a repug) today. the only way we will take back our country is to support the candidates . . . at least until the rules change to publicly-funded elections (another idea we should be supporting however we can).

today, i made a small contribution to the re-election efforts of john conyers, bill nelson, bernie sanders, emily's list, barbara boxer's pac and north shore animal league. ok, that last one was not for re-election but i was on a roll.

it doesn't take a lot of money from each person, only a little money from a lot of people. howard dean proved that.

He's running for congress against Tom Feeney! In case you are not familiar with Clint, here's a quick bio:

Clint is a former Republican who became a whistleblower who came forward and testified to Congress under oath, regarding the request from a sitting congressman to build a computer program that could, without detection, flip the votes in an election. This manipulation allows a person or political party to take control of voting machines and decide who wins the election, regardless of the true vote count. In March of 2005, Clint passed a polygraph test as to the accuracy of his statements. We need everyone's help to get him on the ballot. This is our opportunity to get the election fraud issue into the media and prevent thugs like Feeney out of office.
