An EAST TEXAS Democratic friend of mine found this article from North Dakota, and was so amused by the premise, that she sent this to me with HER thoughts after each statement.

2. This POS has been "making the rounds" since the Katrina disgrace.

I don't know that it's from an emergency manager at all or just another fake clone email.

The analogy that they are trying to make, that no one should expect help from the federal government if one of America's great cities should become completely flooded, is absurd on its face.

Although bitter experience has taught us that we WILL NOT get help from THIS federal government.

We did not wait for some affirmative action government to get us out of a mess created by being immobilized by a welfare program that trades votes for "sitting at home" checks. (No, but watch what happens if they even talk about cutting farm subsidies)

6. 3 years ago we had a blizzard that caused us to have to rebuild our house

because the weight of the snow cracked the rafters in our roof (I live in a trailer home) - there was talk of declaring a state of emergency and calling for federal disaster aid. The reason that we didn't recieve aid? Because the state treasury was broken by Bush's tax-cuts and because(this is my opinions) our Gov. Owens didn't want to embarass Bush.
I agree that a snow storm is not as bad as a hurricane, but still: screw this guy, something tells me that not everyone weathered this storm as well as he did.
