I'm not sure what this means. If their interpretation of MCain Feingold and the new FCC regulations are correct the impact would seem to be the same for DU and Freep. I don't read the bill that way and only one judge so far has taken action (banning local talk shows from discussing a pending vote) but I'd be interested in hearing what others think... There must 500 blogs writing about this today.

But on the issue of whether message boards are covered under the new FCC regs, I would think there would be some common cause. When I worked for ACLU Georgia we worked with everyone from skinheads to the Revolutionary Communist Youth brigade if the issue was one that effected freedom of speech.
