I've been trolling around the DU States forums for a while now.
There is so much information here on the GD>Politics forum
that doesn't seem to make it to the states forums.
Why is that?
Each and every bill debated on C-SPAN has a local flavor.
Every speech your congresscritter makes is important.
The laws they debate (or pass) may directly affect where you live.
Those that hunger for ALL the news will visit and post here, on the GD>Politics forum.
All the time.
And that's fine. It's important. And vital.
What's missing is it seems we're not bringing it home, cross-posting to our state forums.
Each and every one of us has a home state. And many have a state (or states) they used to live in.
If you're curious how your representative voted on any bill,

Here in Ohio we have our hands full with
Ken Blackwell. Florida has
Katherine Harris. Kansas has
Brownback. New Hampshire has
Lieberman. Colorado has
Dobson's Focus on the Family. California has
Arnold. And so it goes. For each and every one of us.
Let's engage and educate by posting in our respective state forums.
Use your judgement and provide a link to the GD>Politics forum when appropriate, to further discussion.
All politics are local.
Let's get to know our DU state members.
And inform them of what going on.
Go
there now and say "Hello!"
