Here is what I wrote really hastily the other day. This is the one thing left that keeps W's legacy (to say nothing of impeachment and conviction) from being a dangerously preacutionary one.

Well we finally have seen in national polling that a majority of our fellow citizens now see the obvious truth: the war was based on lies, horribly administrated from the top, and that there was a complete lack of any planning for what would happen after the inevitable initial victory. There seems to be no great credit attributed to the Bush administration for not ruining the economy as is expected. There also seems to be no great trust in his leadership against terrorism, and that is the one thing left.

We shouldn’t want to take credit for his failure but on ly to point it out. Bush’s biography is a long line of taking credit for failure so maybe this is no great surprise. The one thing that is left is to certify that George W. Bush’s gross negligence and complete incompetence before 9/11 dominates his legacy.

Party leadership REFUSED and continues to refuse to call Bush out for this failure to protect Americans on 911. Further the MSM refuses. If a Democrat were in office on 911 and pulled this shit, do you think for one second that the Republicans/media wouldn't hold him/her accountable?

I called every major democratic campaign hq and bitched before the election - it pretty much fell on deaf ears. I did notice some softball statements to this effect, but nothing clear/direct/biting.

7. Condi let the cat out of the bag

She said something very interesting during the public 9/11 Commission hearings in April 2004. Condi let it slip that there was a Principals Meeting scheduled for September 12th to roll out the Bush Administration's own, brand spanking new program against terrorism. She didn't mention the General dircetly, but that's the reason that Pakistani ISI General Ahmed was in Washington on 9/11.

I don't think anyone other than Richard Clarke ever made reference to the Bush Administration's plans for a new counter-terrorism initiative, and Clarke doesn't connect it to the attack. But, the timing tells me a lot about why Dubya did nothing to order the UBL cells rolled up when he got his 08/06 PDB warning about planned hijackings, attacks on high visibility targets in NYC and DC, and 80 al-Qaeda cells operating inside the US.

The calculation to risk doing nothing until 09/12/01 was a political decision - they wanted credit for getting Osama. Clarke does allude to the fact that Bush's national security team were political hacks first and foremost, and couldn't bear the thought that Clinton's programs would get any credit. nfortunately, bin Laden heard about the counter-terrorism plan through his sources in Saudi and Pakistani intelligence, and got the jump on them. Of course, there were others watching the moves of both sides.

Bush refused to roll-up the UBL cells. That's why 9/11 happened.

9. There's some evidence that Moh. Atta was riding in the jump seat in the

cabin. He had AA uniforms and had boasted about being an AA pilot. Before 9/11, it was not uncommon for airline pilots and student pilots to be allowed to ride up front with the flight crew.

If this was the case, Atta slit the throats of the flight crew and took over the controls before they could send out a distress call.

10. I am quite willing now to look further into the events of 9-11

I am extremely skeptical of the facts, as we have been handed.

This regime has no respect for truth and I think there are enough questions out there to question how 9-11 happened, or was allowed to happen, or may have even been orchestrated by our own government in cahoots with other nations.

I think the questions need to be answered. I will read all investigative reporting on this and hope that serious investigators, and perhaps some whistleblowers will come forth.

There is little doubt in my mind that SOMETHING stinks aobut the facts we have been given and the so called "facts" that the media reported.

They simply do not add up.

I'm beginning to think there is a gene that doesn't allow people do connect dots and ask questions and that it is prevalent in a certain part of North America. They never read about people who have taken up arms and have gone to their slaughter for reasons they didn't fully understand. This gene doesn't allow history to affect their decision, even if the history is living history from 35 + - years ago. Even after they learn that we are dominated by an agenda of perpetual war that creates profits for a few.
