Russian officials collected intelligence on U.S. troop movements and attack plans from inside the American military command leading the 2003 invasion of Iraq and passed that information to Iraqi leader Saddam Hussein, according to a U.S. military study released yesterday.............

Funny thang, AMERICA violated the law, NOT Russia (if they did pass intel to Iraq), or any other nation (if any) who helped Iraq.

America is the bad guy in all of this. Period.

How do you get electronic surveillance of exact troop strength and plan of attack? Were our people talking on unsecured phones? Are we sending these plans thru our email?

If we didn't give it to them, how did we manage to let them get their hands on it?

9. The thing that is really BIZARRE is that

all day this has been on the US news with the concept that the information was accurate, but it didn't seem to effect Saddam's choices. . . BUT I just got through watching the BBC news on PBS about an hour ago, and they are reporting that the information was faulty and useless. Well which is it? Seems to me that the administration is just trying to cause a stir about Russia so they can discredit them in their support of Iran having a right to have pursue nuclear energy.
