Poll question: The Press: Do you want them to be objective or with a political lean?

I'm referring to major press outlets and major local papers.

NOTE: This poll assumes that there will always be press aiming for a specific politcal market that doesn't try to hide it's lack of objectivity; ie, Air America Radio, The Nation, National Review, and the like. Such press is not accounted for here.

So, do you want your news:

1. I voted objective

but I don't mind a slant as long as I know which way they slant.

is the journalist who is on NOBODY'S side

4. I'd slightly amend that--the journalist on DEMOCRACY'S side

is the journalist who's on nobody's side.

And most of them don't care about that anymore.

3. I want both

I want objective news and thoughtful editorials that take a position and I want them kept seperate... obviously I am not getting what I want.
