BUSH SEES U.S. STAYING IN IRAQ THROUGH THE END OF HIS TERM...
This kind of says it all...I got this from a Democratic newsletter I recieve via e-mail...

BUSH SEES U.S. STAYING IN IRAQ THROUGH THE END OF HIS TERM

When Bush was asked when the U.S. would be out of Iraq he responded that the next president would have to decide that. What a comforting thought. Revisiting a list of Bush lies and White House Iraq war predictions:

WMD's
Nuclear Program
U.S. Greeted as Liberators
Don't Need More Troops
Fight a War with the Army you've Got not the Army you Wish you Had
Body Armor is Adequate
Spread Democracy
Mission Accomplished

As Iraq descends into civil war on the 3rd anniversary of the U.S. invasion we should pause to reflect that president Bush has snuffed out as many American lives as were lost on Sept. 11, 2001. Bush continually says the situation in Iraq is improving. However, statistics show that the average daily death toll was 20 in the 1st year, 31 in the 2nd year and 36 last year. The toll for 2006 so far is running well above that last average. Bush says, "we're making progress because we've got a strategy for victory." Who is he kidding! Bush strained to sell his war by making a rhetorical connection between 9/11 and his decision to invade Iraq but back on February 20 he said he didn't actually say Saddam Hussein was responsible for the Sept. 11, 2001 attacks.

Finally, take a look at the cost of his war: Bush is asking congress to raise the national debt from $3 TRILLION to an historical all time high of $9 TRILLION to maintain the cost of the Iraqi war. The U.S. is currently spending $150 BILLION a week on the war. Think about it!!! With that kind of money we could rebuild the city of New Orleans many time over.

"We know where the WMD's are." (Donald Rumsfeld, 3/30/03)
"We found weapons of mass destruction." (President Bush, 5/29/03)
"There's no question that Saddam Hussein had al Qaeda ties." (Bush, 9/17/03)
"I think it (the war) will go relatively quickly, in weeks rather than months." (Rumsfeld, 3/16/03)
"We believe Saddam has, in fact, reconstituted nuclear weapons." (Dick Cheney, 3/16/03)
"We do know as a matter of fact that Saddam is actively pursuing a nuclear weapon." (Condoleezza Rice, 9/10/03)

THEY ALL LIED!!!! WE TELL WHEN THEY ARE LYING, WHEN THEIR LIPS ARE MOVING!!!! WAKE UP AMERICA!!!!

1. He will leave Iraq for a Democratic Adult to clean up his quagmire.
Then, when we Do leave Iraq, and as the country implodes further, Repugs can say, (just as they did in Vietnam) IF ONLY WE HAD STAYED LONGER! We could have WON!

Bush Said it will be up to "Future Presidents and Governments to decide when the Iraq War will end"

4. There is an upside to this.
His term will just have to end a little early, like say shortly after January 1, 2007.
