They discuss the importance of the race for the district currently held by Representative Tom DeLay, both to Texas and to the country. Representative Lampson served in Congress from 1996-2004 until the Texas redistricting led by DeLay.

Did you catch the podcast? I really think that a Lampson victory is exactly what the country needs. It will be difficult to win back one of the houses of congress in 06, but no matter what else happens, a Lampson win would send a huge message to the country and the republican thieves. We really need this one. I would hope that if Texas DUers are reading/listening to this, they will chime in.
