Time magazine article on global warming is scary
Time magazine has come out with an explosive article of global warming. This is just the headline. "POLAR ICE CAPS MELTING FASTER THAN EVER. MORE LAND BEING DEVASTATED BY DROUGHT. RISING WATERS ARE DROWNING LOW-LYING COASTAL COMMUNITIES. BY ANY MEASURE, EARTH IS AT THE TIPPING POINT".

Of course you have idiots like Michael Crichton and the conservative kooks, saying that global warming doesn't exist. Well, they're wrong. Global warming does exist, and is expanding much faster than first thought. This old earth is in major trouble, and world governments better take notice, and fast.

5. I know several people who believe that global warming exists,
but they don't believe human activity has anything to do with it. :eyes:

How nice & easy for them. We are facing a cataclysmic event on this planet & they have, by the very nature of their assessment of it, chosen not to do a damn thing about it. It's a similar take as the apocalyptics. Since there is nothing we can do about, why even try? :banghead:

8. These Global Warming denyers remind me of smokers....
Puffing away on 5 packs a day, saying they aren't sick yet so obviously smoking doesn't cause cancer.

12. EVERYTHING about Global warming is scary
from a breakdown of the foodchain, to the flooding of the coastal cities.

We Democrats will win this issue by default and we'll be able to mock the conservatives for generations on their retarded position on this issue. But it'll be a Pyric victory since their totally inept land management will leave us with a hostile environment for our kids to live in. My blood boils over this issue. I'm sure the radical right will simply view the flooding of our coastal cities as "the will of God", yeah God is sending us a messge alright, pollute the Earth to no end and your coastal cities will be flooded.
