I have not seen the ad yet but here is the press release for it, it does not appear they are waiting and they are taking the fight right to Roskam:

The ad, called “Roskam’s Choice,” shows the wide range of support and far reaching benefits for stem cell research alongside Roskam’s stubborn and shortsighted stance. The ad also shows the company that Roskam keeps in opposing this vital research tool. He stands shoulder to shoulder with radical right figureheads like Pat Robertson, James Dobson and Tom DeLay.
