they'll blame the media (rightfully, to an extent), the DLC, the DNC, Kerry, Rove, those who deserted Dean, Skull & Bones, and everything and anything they can bring themselves to believe to be a rational culprit.
will they blame Dean, his terrible ads, his wasting of money in early states, his going negative at various times, his sealed records, his lack of effective refutance of media distortions, his campaign's failure to turn up the handhelf video of the 'scream speech' that proves that he could barely be heard over the crowd's screaming?
will they blame the fact that Dean refused to unveil his tax plan early on? the fact that he didn't evolve his speeches sufficiently to keep people interested?
i was an early Dean supporter, i gave him $300 even tho i'm damn poor, but i wised up to the fact that for many of the reasons above, rightfully or not, Dean's campaign pissed away its chance.
i commend him for reinvigorating the party and the national debate, and i wish he hadn't blown it, but i think it's pretty obvious by now that he has. though maybe i'm wrong, who knows.
