Ed Koch, "You bet Iraq is in a civil war". He's a hypocrite!!!
Ed Koch, the former mayor of New York, was on with David Asman, who was substituting for Neil Cavuto, and said that Iraq is definitely in a civil war, and if the Arab countries don't come in and give us a hand, we should remove our troops by the end of June, and concentrate on the growing menace of Iran.

This coming from the man who backed Bush's invasion of Iraq in 2003, saying that Saddam was a menace to the Middle East, and we had to obligation to remove him from power, and make a new Iraq.

Now that the going is tough on the ground, Koch is the latest to untangle his foot from his mouth, and change his tune. He joins the growing list of war supporters in 2003, who are now saying we need to get out.

Koch also said that Iran, not Bin Laden and Al Qaeda, are the ones we should be keeping an eye on since they now have the capacity to generate a bomb within the next three years. For his part, Asman tried to sell Koch on the idea of staying the course in Iraq, but Koch wasn't buying that, much to the chagrin of Asman, and the Foxnews chickenhawk crowd.

7. Not happy with losing 2 wars, Koch now wants us to start a third war
Bombing Iran will hurt us more than it will hurt the Iranians. If people think that $3 per gallon of gas is bad, wait until they have to pay $20 per gallon if they can find gas at all.

10. I refuse to be part of the war against Iran
I won't support the government. I won't support the troops. I won't support a country that has chosen insanity over reason. I won't become a "good German"!

16. Those that live in suburbia will be hurt the most
while those like me, can take the bus to work, and walk a few blocks to the grocery store. The problem is that if oil prices skyrocket, it will affect everything including the cost of groceries.

I am convinced that Bush is under the control of bin Laden. How else can an America President do everything imaginable to destroy this country?

3. i'm still trying to understand koch's statement as to why he was
going to vote for bush -- "america has moved too far to the left". clinton was a moderate president. now we're so far to the right that the earth is shifting.:sarcasm:

5. So, the NY version of Zell Miller is getting airtime!
Koch is a useless asshole. He's been wrong on every issue for at least a decade.

I see he's now pushing Israel's next proxy war. There's a shock!

ten years before they would be capable of building a nuclear weapon.

9. You are totally correct, Missy M
We should also say that Iran, and any other country, have the right to get nuclear weapons to defend themselves against aggressor states such as the US.

I have seen no evidence that Iran is even attempting to get nuclear weapons!

12. How're you doing, Ed?
Lousy, that's how.

I guess Ed's gotten bored with the war in Iraq, like a spoiled child late on Christmas morning. The toy he wanted so badly didn't perform like it did in the ads, and now he wants something else. Up yours, Ed. Sideways. You want a war so damn bad, go fight it yourself. I’ll chip in ten bucks for the plane to fly you over Iran and drop you out the cargo hatch.

18. Have you ever heard of scabies?
Koch is like scabbies, the only way to get rid of him is by suffocating him to death as you do scabies with an ointment.
