We were discussing the latest series of polls at our local Democratic Committee meeting yesterday. Our new results show two likely candidates within one point of our local fascist, Frank LoBiondo, whose seat has always been written off as "safe Republican."

Seems the hard issues are (1) him going back on his term limits pledge, (2) his constant support for the Bush war and tax cuts, (3) his involvement (although minimal) with Abramoff.

If we can recruit a strong candidate here, and get the funding we need, we stand a chance of unseating one of the worst Republicans in the nation.

Folks, taking back the House (and maybe even the Senate) is WITHIN OUR GRASP! KEEP FIGHTING! KEEP DONATING! KEEP CAMPAIGNING! If we fight like we're 30 points down, we could see a shift in November that makes 1994 look like a blip!

You're right, 2006 could be a big year for Dems. We should get candidates in every congressional race this year and back them all the way. Polls are beginning to show greater support for Dem candidates across the board.
