Wife just watched McCain on MTP/Tweety; "I would have voted for him..."
"...but no way, now. The guy just says whatever he thinks we want to hear. And how can he support Bush after what he did to him?"

Ah yes! McCain had a good morning on NBC...hopefully he woke up a lot more people to what a transparent power-whore he is.

Keep talkin' John! You're doing us a favor!

1. How to beat McCain in 2008
Just re-broadcast the attack ads that Bush used against him in the 2000 Primary.

7. Yes, along with the videos of all his chimp-hugging
That should do it.

2. I wanted him over Bush, but there is no way I'd vote for McCain now.
He is such a tool and I think he has lost his self-respect in pandering to the Falwells, et al. If he hasn't lost his self-respect, then there is something deeply wrong with him and he shouldn't be president.

McCain voted against making Martin Luther King a holidy?

That he was involved taking BRIBES from Keating during the S&L crisis

Look at his voting record

The truth is out there

5. McCain never had a shot at the nomination
The freaks on the right hate him more than they hate the Clintons.

6. Did you catch NBC's teaser for the interview?
"I'll talk to the PROBABLE GOP nominee in 2008."

They want a Hillary/McCain battle so badly they can hardly contain themselves.

Bring it on. (Maybe just without McCain or Hillary). ;-)

9. Yeah, they can just taste that matchup
It's an indication of just how out of touch they are with political reality that they can't see that neither one of them will get a whiff of their party nominations.

10. The question is; will they make their reality ours? The Corporate
Media has become excellent at getting us to think like they do, when they are ready for it to happen.

So we need to keep spreading the word to the Sheeples:
WAKE UP AMERICA; THE CORPORATE MEDIA IS NOT ON OUR SIDE!

11. I was just wondering why this article about McCain is on Yahoo
On their front page: "McCain Softens Language on Jerry Falwell." Why is this important news? It seems they're already considering him a candidate.

13. That's what I don't get about McCain..............
....he was a prisoner of war for 8 long years and endured torture to the point that the man can't raise his arms above shoulder level to this day. Yet, the boy king, who couldn't even finish out his National Guard duty over Texas trashes McCain's service and went so far as to suggest McCain may have collaborated with the enemy. THE MAN WAS BEING TORTURED FOR GODS SAKE. (I'm not screaming at you, I'm just screaming out of frustration.:eyes:) Yet, McCain goes back and sucks up to that?? The only thing I can think of - and I say this out of the utmost respect for anyone having been tortured - that maybe McCain's years as a prisoner of war affected more than his arms.

What the hell happened to him? It's like he's been gutted with a large fish knife.

15. I don't know if McCain knows it or not, but a LOT of people feel
exactly like your wife does! I'm one of them! I admit, I'm a sucker for the maverick candidate. He did a great job in 2000 with his "Straight Talk Express", and in all the interviews I saw, he didn't appear to mince his words. I loved it when he pointed out the fake words of the TV Preachers!

I ditched him when he started cozying up to Shrub this time. Even his words don't sound real anymore.

I guess I understand why he's paling up to the righties, because he can't possibly get the nomination without their votes, but he's lost all the independants and I question if the righties have forgotten his past words...even if they were many years ago!

18. They have a file on McCain, and let him run on a leash at times...
There is just no way to explain it otherwise.

The Keating S&L scandal, his wifes drug use, among other oddities must be in quite a dossier that the Magical Monkey King and his pals have on McCain. How else can his borderline nuts behavior be explained?

Tinfoil on...he has been told that the dossier exists. Others told that info on them are in the hands of Monkey Boy are Biden, and other Demowhores that show bizzare behavior such as ass-kissing, then mild mealy mouthed criticism.
