Feds suspend official facing child sex charges

(CNN) -- A press aide at the U.S. Department of Homeland Security was suspended without pay one day after being arrested on charges connected with using a computer to try to seduce a child, the department said Wednesday.

Brian J. Doyle, a deputy press secretary, was placed on administrative leave without pay, according to a DHS statement. His security clearance, employee badge and facility access permissions also have been suspended, according to the statement.
