Is there a mole? Will an intern be fired?

Apparently he scans satellite feeds for juicy stuff and happened upon that one. Brilliant! He is my new hero, of course I have always thought he was a kick in the pants!

10. I want to know more about that Duntz focus group

I don't believe his assessment that John Edwards didn't do well -- the guy is down on the Gulf Coast recruiting students on Spring Break to help clean up, and people supposedly still see him as a "rich lawyer not interested in poor people"? Something stinks there ... as it usually does with anything Duntz has a hand in. I heard during the 2004 election that Edwards was the candidate the Thugs feared the most, and this seems a bit too "Brer Rabbit" to me.

14. Most likely taped off a satellite 'back haul' feed

If you have one of those big older 'C band' (3.7 - 4.2 GHz) satellite dishes, you can watch the 'back haul' feeds of many different news shows while they are transmitted between studios in different states. The audio and video from the studio stay on during the periods slated to run local commercials.

You can also treat yourself to many unedited news feeds featuring 'raw footage' hours before the edited versions appear on air. It's a great way to learn about how selective editing works in order to slant a story a given way. :)
