Bids on eBay charity auction top $2,000 for the right to send Hillary Clinton to jail in an upcoming children's book. Winner will be caricatured as the hero who arrests a Hillary look-alike. Auction still has three days to go; funds to benefit U.S. troops.

What I would love is if a Democratic President nominated HILLARY RODHAM (the name on her law degree, and the name under which she practices law) to the Supreme Court, and the nomination was handily approved by a Democratic Senate.

I did this three years ago. "Send a heretic to prison" was a spoof of this very idiocy, except that mine was in the form of a letter-writing contest. Best letter gets to send their neighborhood heretic go to jail. Here's an example:

Anyone can throw their theory out there. Republican's just aren't funny. They don't seem to have the knack for comedy. Hillary Clunkton? It's just stupid. Like they threw it together in five minutes. And I used to occasionally listen to Rush before I got into politics (I've always been a Dem, albeit a very unpolitical one and I was trying give the other side a listen) and he'd do these bits on the Clinton's, sometimes even Chelsea, and it just struck me how cornball they were, not to mention mean spirited to the extreme. Even the sorta funny Dennis Miller lost his touch when he went to the dark side. Please tell me one comedian who leans to the right. We have Maher, Colbert, Stewart, Rock, Letterman, Leno, Carlin. We had Carson, Bruce, Pryor. I can't think of one conservative.

And, btw, being an artist, I feel qualified to add the illustrations for the similar hate-book "There are Liberals Under My Bed", were horribly drawn, they looked very amateurish. And come to think of it, we've got most of the great music people, too. I think artists tend to be open-minded and open-hearted and maybe have the ability to put themselves in another's shoes? The trait to think creatively rather than black and white? All I can say is, as an artistic person IMO, they turn out some horrible unimaginative badly written and drawn drivel.

I was perusing a car message board back when we had just started the invasion of Iraq, and when anti-France hysteria was at its peak.

One idiot poster mentioned something about how San Francisco sucked, then said, "I just realized something -- 'San FRANCE-isco.'"

Some other posters laughed at the joke like it was the greatest one they ever heard. :eyes:
