send flowers for his funeral tomorrow, here is the church name and phone number. I spoke to the priest who will be conducting the funeral mass. The mother's name is on the press release posted on the link below. This is a Spanish Catholic Church.

I posted a thread on this earlier here and some doubted the teens suicide. I just got it confirmed.

Suicide is a horrible thing but can you imagine feeling that you did the right thing and would be punished to this extent and you didn't have the coping skills to deal with it in this country?? Shame, shame, shame.

It is supposed to be a press release sent to many new organizations and the family is supposed to be fielding many press inquiries.

4. Shame. This is a true story! I have the mother's home phone number now!

I just made a second call to the church. While I was talking to the Priest we both started crying, they are getting calls from all over the country of support. We talked about how the people feel about the political backlash against them, some who have lived here for many years. This young man was born here. The gentleman I spoke to said we can send flowers to the family at the church. If checks are sent to the mother, please make them out to Louise Corales and the church will collect them up and give them to her. They were going to give me her home address but I declined to post it here as I do not want to endanger this poor family further. Those of you who live in Ontario, please attend if you can. Maybe we can get the local paper to cover this. It will only go nationwide two ways, if the paper does a story and puts it on the AP, if they are AP subscribers, OR IF WE BLOG THE HELL OUT OF THIS!!!!! Rage against the machine!

An obituary ran on this young man's death in the local paper. It is not online. Shame, shame, shame.

8. Suicide was supposed to be a week ago - child suicides show up in the news

As a news skeptic (not just of this story but in general) - how do we know what the Vice Principal said? Was there a note? - the why isn't the note quoted? Were there witnesses? Then why aren't they mentioned?

When a memorial fund is set up with child deaths I am familiar with it is always with a special bank account to prevent abuse.


Maybe this is true but there are reasons to ask questions.

It is very sad. In Orange County, NY we usually have 6 teen suicides a year on average. My local paper did a two page story on teen suicide this week.

I am sorry for the negativity of my and others posts on this subject.

I used to work with at risk youth, and have had several suicides in my short (35) life. I was trying to understand why people did not believe that this kid killed himself.

So many children commit suicide. Their stories never make the paper, google, etc...

has hurt all of us in ways that are hard to define.

I, too, spent years working with youth in church youth groups and other civic organizations. Knew a few who killed themselves too. It is so tragic anyways but for this reason ... appalling.
