week & I loved this character! He used up his time with an anecdote, & when Jon Stewart ended the interview Terkel said, "Aww...I don't get to talk about Bush." He was hilarious.

3. This Was Fabulous
Wonderful, so cool--this was the interview I had hoped for a few days ago on that "Daily Shit," and didn't get then. This was the real story-telling Studs Terkel, going way back, and right up to the present; very sharp, very kind and warm. Memories and current events. The audience was knowledgeable and obviously loves Studs Terkel, and had a lot of great questions. Bob Edwards was a great moderator. This was fun--smart, funny, great. The segment before it on "American Perspectives" with Walter Mondale, by the way, was a wonderful surprise--Mondale was fabulous.

4. yeah...I was pleasantly surprised at mondale
and i taped studs terkel...what a guy...and i want my kids to experience this man
