Presidential Mystery My A**! (at least Newsweek has it up)
Edited on Sun Apr-09-06 03:31 AM by orleans
"Is he a CEO who stays above the fray? Or did he give the go-ahead to strike back at critics over prewar intel? A presidential mystery."

http://msnbc.msn.com/id/12228726/site/newsweek/

and why do they keep saying this crap: "leagally, bush did nothing wrong." when in the same paragraph they say the leak happened ten days before the asshole declassified it!

"Legally, Bush did nothing wrong. The president can declassify a document any time he wants. Indeed, a sanitized version of the document in question—a National Intelligence Estimate compiled by the CIA and other agencies—was formally declassified and made public only 10 days after some of its contents were leaked by Libby to New York Times reporter Judith Miller in July 2003. But the administration was unquestionably playing games with reporters, whether or not the president was directly involved."
(see what i mean?)

1. (sigh) Anyone remember trying to play with That Kid, you know
the one who would make up some crazy convoluted game, and when you worked out how to win he'd add a new rule, or change an old one?

Now we know what happened to that kid.

Unfortunately it's no longer as easy to get away from this BS as finally rolling your eyes, taking your ball and going home.

2. they keep leaving out the key phrase: "according to the administration
and its lawyers" the president has done nothing illegal. This has never been tested in court. It's just an assertion, put out by the defacto propoganda organ of the administration. Who does Ensor call to find out if it was illegal? Who else? The WH, mayb Gonzalez. They are the "authorities."

and these guys keep their jobs by never questioning authority.

3. If he leaked info while it was still classified...then he's a LEAKER &
broke the law and is a felon. After (10 days later) he
declassified it...it became public info.but when he mentioned it it was still classified. He's a liar!

Why didn't he formally declassify it before he mentioned anything about it? How stupid is that?!

I don't go for that crap that he can't leak anything because as CIC he can declassify anything he wants, even if it isn't true. I'm so sick of this shitty man!
