After the Earthquake...
The status quo is no more. People are in shock. They have trouble assimilating the new world. Much that was taken for granted is now gone.

So it is with the neo-con takeover of our government with George W Bush at the helm. After 9/11, the people were in shock. The status quo was no more. The Democrats struggled to assimilate in the new world. Democratic supporters criticized their leaders for not being more vocal.

The world has changed. There was a political "earthquake" in our country and people still have not assimilated what has happened. The change was so quick and devastating that people were confused and wandering alone in their own realities. The Democratic Party was shaken to its foundations. Although they are trying to rebuild, until they can interpret the consequences in a rational way, they will continue to be leaderless and without a vision.

We hope that we all can come together and understand what has happened to our country. Only then will we be able to rebuild from the earthquake that has shaken our nation. We must clean up the debris and the corruption and start anew. Hopefully, that will be soon.
