aarrrgghhh--investigating 9/11 would aid the enemy!!!
okay, perhaps some of you have heard this kind of thing before, but today is the first time I ran across this crap. on another forum, there was a question raised about what chimperor SHOULD have done on, and after, Sept 11, 2001.

One of the things I stated was that he SHOULD have called for an immdiate and detailed investigation, rather than trying to prevent one, along with testifying, etc. another person (who, at least until this thread, I had considered at least minimally intelligent) posted this:

"I am sure an intensive investigation was carried out. I expect you mean a public one. In my opinion then (and now) is not the time and would only help the enemy who is waiting to pounce again."

short of screaming, or banging my head on a wall, and calling her a complete idiot, could you give me some responses that WON'T get me nailed for violating that forum's TOS?

thank you in advance.

1. The enemy knows what they did.
A better understanding of failures to stop it would aid us.

3. How would truth aid the enemy?
The reason they don't want an investigation is because the enemy is within.

6. Beat Me To It
Liberal and proud beat me to it.

The enemy is democracy.

What has Bush not tried to hide. If he releases something, you can bet your first born it is a lie.

4. Ask her if she would trust Kenneth Starr to do an investigation.
:eyes:

Sorry, no good advice for you other than to rest easy knowing she is dumb as a fucking 2X4.

7. Make her support her
ridiculous statement. See how well she does. Most of them can't, they are just spewing the junk they hear on hate radio. Make her make sense of it. She can't or won't even try.

I have learned that the easiest way to win with these people is to make them prove what they are saying. They can't.

9. Reply with very sarcastically, "you're right, after extensive thought....

....I have to admit an open and truthful investigation would have only benefited the enemies of Nixon-ism, Nazism, and all secretive government control. The only people a public investigation would have benefited would have been all freedom, open and truth loving citizens everywhere. So I apologize for questioning such expectations."

edited to add: OR you could write, "You are right about an investigation the likes of that for stained blue dresses being proper for war that kills thousand of our young people. Please forgive me, what was I thinking anyway?"
