1. I have to wonder --
If there are, as they say, 3 million "illegals" crossing the border every year, how come, 20 years after Reagan's amnesty which kicked this off, there are only 12 million in the country? Shouldn't that number be more like 50-60 million?

I was never good at math...

Were those taking part in the demonstrations not largely waving American flags and advocating U.S. citizenship for immigrants?
