Mossouai trial dispell any of the so-called conspiracy theories about 9/11 or do they in fact bring up more questions. I understand that they played the cockpit tape from one of the flights today. Any word on what was on it and how it is being perceived.

Only relevance to trial seems to be emotional distress on the part of jurors to guarantee death penalty.

that the emotional response to the tapes may be grounds for a retrial.

I don't know if they have provided anything other than a whole lot of pain for the victims' families.

6. Yes, it would dispel at least two that I know of...

One of the bits of "evidence" the so-called "truth movement" claims is:

1) Why else has "the Government" never released, or let anyone hear the information on the "black boxes."

and as stated by another post:

2) The "...it was shot down by "the Government..." argument.

But those might not settle anything, as the so-called "truth movement" folks are not big on facts and actual data, they usually think it's fake (see TWA 800 for example).

7. I have wondered how the court is getting away with playing

tapes about 9/11, when he wasn't involved in the actual attack. Just exactly what is he charged with anyway? If I mearly said I wanted to kill someone could they play tapes of the Jeffery Daumier murders in order to influence the jury to convict me? I guess that's a stupid question in Bush's America.

8. He is charged with knowledge beforehand.

Even though there seems to have been a lot of knowledge beforehand that was ignored by people who have received medals and bestowed medals on those individuals. If he had written in a memo, he would have been ignored anyway.

9. Wasn't there a FBI agent that sent like a hundred E-mails

to his superiors warning them about these attacks and they were ignored. So if I overhear someone plotting to commit a crime and don't turn them in I can go to prison?

10. I believe that is the case.

Maybe more than prison, they are seeking the death penalty in this case. Not that I think there isn't a likelihood that he has broken a law. I am surprised at the idea of the death penalty for him. But I think the death penalty should be used sparingly if at all. But I also believe their should have been penalties for some of the officials also, especially Bushco for ignoring the facts beforehand.

bushco had more to do with killing the folks on that flight than mossouai did.
