WestPoint Grads Against the War
Randi Rhodes just read a statement that supposedly came from a group of WestPoint grads. The statement was pointing out that they were against the war and were taking a stand against the people who brought the war about.

6. No Problem
I did see that someone had posted about it and I just wanted people to know about the group.

4. Until they are willing to put their names on the website
It's pretty much worthless. Oh, it's a good sign that more and more people are waking up. But really, it could be anybody. Could even be a Repub trick to trap West Point grads who are still on active duty into identifying themselves.

But make no mistake that a lot of the military, even the professionals, have in fact woken up. I remember reading in one of the major print media (not campaign literature) back in the summer of 2003 that a group of Clark's classmates met at the graveyard at West Point. Looking at the fresh graves from Iraqi casualties, they said to each other, "Run, Wes, run." They were thoroughly disgusted with what this current administration had gotten us into as early as then. Names were not given then either, but it's not likely any of 'em remain on active duty.

7. The Website
I went to the website and thought I say names and pictures. It looks that the grads were from the 60s. The name of the founding members were on the page and the names and pictures of other was on there too. I think the names were near the middle or bottom of the page.

8. Names and Pictures
I returned to the website just to see if I had been acturate in saying that the names and pictures of some of the members were on the website. I was pretty much so right. The names, the WestPoint pictures, and current pictures of the three founding members are on the website.

10. So they are. My bad.
I was at the website yesterday, and didn't see them. I must have missed the purpose page. I did look at the home page and about half of the others.

Well that's great then. The founders are all Class of '62. Nothing wrong with that. I hope as they gain members, they ask for permission to use names. Those still on active duty can understandably not comply, but others will I'm sure.

11. I hope they get a heap more with the intelligence, courage and
honesty to sign their names to that.

5. Maybe the site was put up because Commander-in-Leaks is
supposed to give the graduating convocation speech at West Point this year.

Poor gals & Fellas! I can see why they are trying to say something, without leaving any traces!
