Gingrich: the status quo is working in Iraq and he's against withdrawal
Newt Gingrich was on "Hannity & Colmes," where he was asked about his statements on Iraq. FNC's Colmes: "Yesterday you said we have to pull back; we have to recognize it. Very much like what John Kerry said last week. He came up with certain dates but he actually came up with a plan about pulling back, just like you suggested."

Gingrich: "I actually am the opposite of John Kerry. All I want to do is exactly what General Abizaid is doing, which is maximize the rate of training of Iraqi forces and minimize the direct exposure of Americans in trying to police the country. I am not for any precipitous withdrawal from Iraq, and I think Senator Kerry was advocating a policy of absolute defeat when he suggested he would set a date, which I think he said could be as early as May" (FNC, 4/12).

oh yes, he lies like a rug. I heard the other interview he did some collage I think. I think the scientists should work out a spray I call the Pinocchio spray. See you spray it in the room and watch their noses grow , such fun. Almost as much fun as all the sentencing hearings that are down the road.

7. I believe John Kerry set a date in May for the Iraqi's to...
form a government and if they didn't we would start to pull out. That is a bit different than Gingrich made it sound.

8. Newt's just too downtown for any serious run at the presidency.
He's nobody's favorite in the GOP and no one who's a Democrat would consider him at all.

He's a candidate without a constituency and he lies about his own stance on the issues.

The slam on John Kerry was reductionist and pointless.

9. I watched newt teach a college course before he became speaker of the house
way back when.

The man is a fascist. He does not believe in democracy. I realized then that the republican party was going to betray us. I have been telling everyone since bush took office, that our democracy was in trouble, my own family and friends did not believe me. Now they do, now they are afraid to do anything.

I do not consider them friends anymore, I lost all respect for them. I do see how hitler took over and controlled germany with fear, we are now a pre nazi regime that lives in fear.

10. Hi to you, gglor. I'm real comfortable with your description of Newt
and I am sorry you and your family have the tension over politics.

But it turns out, you were right to distrust the GOP stormtroopers. The proof is sadly in the daily papers.

11. the world has become a meaner place over the last 20 years..
Newt claims he supports this war, but he'll never pay more in taxes for it. He ripped Clinton for not having an exit strategy before going into Bosnia, but rips Kerry for presenting an exit strategy..now that the Iraqi War is over! These people are just like Communists..once revolutionaries against the state..whom now equate all forms of dissent with terrorism, once a outspoken voice against one-party government..that is now its proudest servant, and comrades whom equate all forms of obedience with patriotism.

Animal Farm "Nobody stole, nobody grumbled over his rations, the quarreling and biting and jealousy which had been normal features of life in the old days had almost disappeared."

12. Kerry: Give Iraqi leaders to 5/15 to decide to form a functioning govt. or
the US will begin drawdowns over the next 6months. Newt runs that through his RNC brain and comes out with "Cut and run" - "Defeatist" - just like they spun Murtha's plan. They NEVER tell the truth about ANY Democratic proposal - EVER.

Ever hear Newt, Bush and Cheney sit around and swap war stories?

13. hell no
I am so sick of them. I cannot believe we have no options to get rid of them. Election fraud is in big time. Statistics say we have to have a 20% margin of victory in order to win with voting fraud abundant. Democracy rising is planning a march april 29. It will receive no coverage and everyone will be arrested. The college campuses are marching and getting expelled and arrested.

I cry over the loss of America.
