19. I think it's from one of his books.
I found this from the Guardian Newspaper in an interview;
"In all life one should comfort the afflicted, but verily, also, one should afflict the comfortable, and especially when they are comfortably, contentedly, even happily wrong."
The Guardian, July 29, 1989

It almost says the same thing. He has always been a very strong advocate of progressive taxation.

7. I admire their willingness to push the envelope.
Does this include a trip for a county sponsored photograph, and a brand new ID number?

15. Civil Disodience
It is my understanding that the arrests were intentionally set up. Those protestors who were willing to be arrested went to the old Camp Casey, which is now covered by a no trespassing ordinance.

Sixteen people agreed to get arrested. My heartfelt thanks go to everyone of them! The rest of the supporters and protestors remained in the safe zones. My heartfelt thanks to them, too.

Please correct me if I am mistaken.

20. Legal citizens got permits
This hatred towards undocumented workers is really beginning to make me vomit. And I know that it's been posted a cazillion times that most of the protesters were AMERICAN CITIZENS. I don't think anybody who got arrested today would make the comparison you just made.

22. Ellsberg of the Prairie Dog 14
He has been arrested 80 some times! Has magician's silk hankies with him to entertain even in handcuffs! Did a little sleight of hand on Saturday at Camp Casey II.

The arrests were made at Camp Casey I, and all arrestees were arrested because they got into tents in the ditches. All but a few had been arrested at Thanksgiving, and are yet to be arraigned, so were hoping to move the process along, as they are wanting to challenge the ordinance, which did not cover all the road in the county, just the ones around the royal pig farm.

Ellsberg is a charming man, approachable and generous. It was a delight to meet him.

My respect for all the Prairie Dogs is immense.

18. If they were rioting in Hope, Arkansas, they wouldn't call out
the volunteer fire dept.

But peaceful protests along a country road--now that' scary! :scared: :sarcasm:
