Janet heading the ticket.

but he's a good party man, was the chairman of the state party recently

don't expect him to come out strong on the most leftist issues, but he'll be a good soldier in the Senate IMO

he'd be a Harry Reid kind of guy in my best estimation

opponent.

candidate on her coattails?

That would be nice.

I realize there's a lot of split-ticket voting in the country.

But it would be mighty fine to see blue, blue and more blue in the Western states.

pants and then when he is not paying attention yank the chair away from him while also lifting it slightly.

He will be unseated right enough.
